Golden Hour Mountain Biking Tour to Lake Thun from Interlaken

The "Golden Hour Social Bike Tour" starts at the Yellow Velo Shop in Interlaken and takes you along the turquoise River Aare through forests and meadows. After about 11 km, you reach Lake Thun, where you can enjoy the sunset with a drink and snacks.

An optional splash in the cool water offers a refreshment. The return route takes you through old forests and along the Lombach River back to Interlaken. The route passes on well-paved asphalt roads and gravel paths with approximately 50 meters of elevation.

Practical Information:

• The meeting point is only a 5-minute walk from Interlaken West station.
• In the shop, you can buy sunscreen, sunglasses, and water bottles.
• Your luggage can be stored securely in a safe area.

If you want to eat something later, you can visit the Hüsi Bierhaus, just nearby the Yellow Velo shop, every day after midday (except Tuesday). They serve spare ribs, schnitzel, sausages, and other hearty dishes.
