Lock cruise between Schlössli Wörth and Rhine Falls and Eglisau

After a boat tour through the Rhine Falls basin, you glide downstream to the Rheinau power station. There, you have to leave the boat because it is carried over the first weir.

You can watch as the boat is pulled across to the other side with a rolling cart. The journey then continues past the Rheinau Monastery Island, until the second weir, which is also crossed.

The boat passes under a 200-year-old wooden bridge, reaching the third and final weir, known as the "Stollenauslauf."

Once you’ve overcome this last weir, the natural current of the Rhine begins, and you enjoy the rest of the trip to Eglisau. The return journey follows the same route after a 0:45-hour break.

With this ticket, you can choose between three options:

• Eglisau - Rhine Falls one way (approx. 3:30 hours)
• Rhine Falls - Eglisau one way (approx. 3:30 hours)
• Rhine Falls - Eglisau - Rhine Falls round trip (approx. 8:00 hours)

Practical Information:

• Dogs are not allowed
• The boat trip is not suitable for wheelchair users, as access to the boats is only via steps, and barrier-free boarding is not possible.
• Travel by train to "Neuhausen Rhine Falls." From there, it’s a pleasant 15-minute walk to the Schlössli Wörth landing stage.
• Cold meals offered include: Salad plate, sausage cheese salad garnished, Rhine Falls plate, cheese plate, colorful raw vegetable plate, fishermen's feast plate

• No toilet is available during the trip (bathroom stop in Rheinau)
• In bad weather, the ship is fully enclosed with glass
• If there are too few participants, the trip may be canceled up to 4 days before the date.
• Kids under 5 travel free
• The crossing from Schloss Laufen to the docking point Schlössli Wörth is included, so make sure to be there on time (check the timetable, at least 15 min early)
